We were very lucky this year that Ms.Murphy volunteered her time to come in and do yoga lessons with us. We really enjoyed the beautiful yoga stories that Ms.Murphy created. Each story took us on an adventure and we had to use our yoga poses along the way.
All of the children greatly enjoyed the yoga and it helped us with our listening skills, self-regulation and gross motor skills. Thank you for all your hard work Ms.Murphy!
We made our own play d'oh. Tracey had the secret recipe. We also put glitter in our play d'oh when it was finished.
Some of us really liked the messy feel of the play d'oh. Others of us had to try really hard during this activity. At the end though we all decided, for some reason, to stick our faces in the play d'oh :) We went bowling for the first time in March. We all really enjoyed learning how to play this new game. It was tricky, but it was fun. Those balls are heavy!!
On trips like these we learn to be in loud places with other people. We also get to practice talking to adults we do not know. We also hope to learn new games we can play as we get older.
