Parents’ Association
The aim of the Parents’ Association is to enable parents to play their part in ensuring provision of the best possible education for their children and that this is achieved through the Association’s programme of activities.
The Parents’ Association will promote the interests of the students in co-operation with the Board of Management, Principal, teachers and students, in accordance with the provisions of the Education Act, 1998.
The Parents’ Association is not a forum for complaint against either an individual teacher or parent. The approved Complaints Procedure is the mechanism for this.
Agree to Agree Project
In today’s digital age, there is a growing need to ensure the online safety and well-being of children.
Our recent surveys show that children’s use of smartphones & internet-enabled devices is a concern.
The “Agree to Agree” Internet Safety Project is a response to this in the context of the Department of Education’s ‘Keeping Childhood Smartphone Free’ guide.
The project, which is led by the Parents’ Association (PA Committee), is focused on fostering a culture of partnership.
By working together – children, parents and staff – we can help to ensure safe childhood experiences.
