As Principal of the school, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our school website.
Through this website, we hope to provide you with an insight into the school’s unique identity and learning environment. The website also contains valuable information for parents, prospective parents and those in the wider community.
It is a great privilege to work with such a caring, committed and hard-working staff team. The Parents’ Association Committee, Board of Management and the wider community of Sixmilebridge all contribute to the warm, inclusive and well-organised atmosphere.
Huge changes in Irish society have presented extraordinary challenges for primary schools. Our vision for the future is one in which our pupils are fulfilled and well-rounded individuals who will contribute to a better future for all.
We are determined to nurture the holistic development of each child in a child-centred environment. We recognise the importance of promoting a more positive society and the values we hold closest include: kindness; respect for all; personal responsibility; equality of opportunity (fairness); and good decision-making (choices).
