The School Day at St. Finnachta’s

From 9am, dynamic lessons, collaborative activities, and enriching experiences that inspire curiosity and foster growth.

Sixmilebridge National School
  1. The school grounds are accessible from 8.45am. School officially begins at 9.00am.
  2. The mid-morning break (sos) is from 10.45-10.55am for all classes. Children have the opportunity to eat a small snack and there is access to the yard (weather permitting).
  3. Lunch is from 12.45-1.15pm. Children go to the yard for physical exercise and fresh air. When the children return to the classrooms they are provided with a hot meal.
  4. The school day ends for Junior & Senior Infants at 1.40pm.
  5. All other classes finish at 2.40pm.
