The 6th classes took part in a workshop with Clare County Council. The council are preparing a vision for the future of Sixmilebridge Town Centre and they wanted to hear the opinions of students in 6th class. Sixmilebridge has been chosen as the first town in Clare under the first phase of the National Town Centre First initiative. The children worked in groups to draw a map of the town with important places and ideas that stand out for them. They discussed what they liked and didn't like about Sixmilebridge. Finally, everyone voted for one thing they would like to see in Sixmilebridge in the future.
