​The school has received confirmation this morning that the Building Project is proceeding to Stage 3: Tender Action. This is the last stage before the commencement of construction. The short-listed building contractors will be required to submit their tenders in the coming weeks before the successful contractor is appointed and works can begin.

Officials form the St. Francis Credit Union are available in the school on Wednesday mornings to encourage the habit of saving among 2nd-6th class pupils. ​This year`s International Credit Union Day falls on the 20th October 2016, to celebrate, St Francis Credit Union will lodge a €10.00 starter to any NEW member that joins between 17th - 22nd October 2016 who are up to the age of 12.
