This is usually the time of year when we are all busy preparing and donating shoeboxes for children affected by poverty in Africa or Eastern Europe. It is an opportunity to share a little joy and excitement with children who live in circumstances where these can sometimes be in short supply. This year the Christmas Shoebox Appeal has gone online. To make a virtual box of your own with your child, you can visit www.teamhope.ie at any time, and choose the items you would like to add. The closing date is December 23rd, but the Christmas Shoebox Appeal Week is being ran from 9th – 15th November.
