The Four Musketeers
A Sixmilebridge N.S. quiz team of 6th class pupils Sinead Cahill, Luke O’ Halloran, Colin Kelly and Will Fitzpatrick took part in the Avonmore Super Schools Quiz on Clare F.M. The quiz was recorded in the school by Breakfast Show host Ciara Revins. They were asked their names and the class gave them a big cheer. They were then asked ten general knowledge questions and had ninety seconds to complete them. Answering all ten questions in a time of fifty-nine seconds (the fastest time in the history of the quiz) the anxious team waited nervously for their score. Ciara confirmed that they had scored an amazing ten out of ten.
Then six weeks later, after thirty-six other schools had been played on the Breakfast Show Ciara came back with some news. To Luke O’Halloran’s surprise she revealed that they had won. The team celebrated joyously with lollipops courtesy of Ciara. On December the 18th Ciara presented them with the winner’s cup.
